The battle at the civic centre was conflict in RoboCop 2 between the two cyborgs RoboCop and RoboCop 2 (Cain) and the Detroit Police Department.

Background[]

Following RoboCop being torn apart by Cain and his cult during his first attempt to arrest him, the police strike finally called off, with RoboCop fully repaired and they proceed to raid the Nuke Cult factory resulted Cain getting injured during his escaped attempt. Dr. Juliette Faxx turns him into RoboCop 2. RoboCop 2 raid a warehouse where a meeting is held by Hob, he killed Angie and everyone including Poulus, while Marvin Kuzak escapes through a sewer drain. In the aftermath RoboCop arrives and finds a dying Hob inside the armored van and he informs RoboCop that it was Cain who is RoboCop 2 and dies shortly.

The Battle[]

RoboCop attends the meeting of attended the unveiling of Delta City and RoboCop 2 at the OCP Headquarters. Cain then notices the canister of Nuke that The Old Man was holding, tries to grab it and he immediately throws it and notices RoboCop and tries to shoot him, but it's weapon is not working and sees the remote that Dr. Faxx is holding and grabs it and turn it's weaponry and immediately opens fire at RoboCop and the crowd killing or wounding them in the process. The two cyborgs fight throughout the Civic Centrum, where they end up into the roof and they fall into the underground facility where they continue fighting, where Cain tried to used a wielding torch on RoboCop and hits a gas pipe where it explodes, but it fail to stop Cain.

Officer Anne Lewis and the police forces soon arrive and engages Cain resulting many officers and civilians including an ambulance crew and reporters killed or wounded as RoboCop went back inside the OCP Headquarters to get the Nuke Canister. Anne Lewis used an armored APC to ram Cain, but this also fails. She shows the Nuke Canister to Cain and it stop engaging. Distracting while consuming the drug, RoboCop then climbs unto his back and extracts his brain and crushes it ending the Drug lord's life and putting his rampage to an end.
