Chief Karen Dean is a corrupt chief of the Detroit Police Department, while considered a secondary character/antagonist from RoboCop (2014).
Role of the film[]
Karen has been chief of the DPD for some time while also having a former friendship with Detective Alex Murphy and Detective Sergeant Jack Lewis. At some point before the events of the film, Karen became corrupt when she started working with crime boss Antoine Vallon by preventing any investigations and getting rid of any evidence connected to Vallon. After being confronted by Alex with the evidence against her which was the recording of His memory of detective John lake ratting her out. Murphy opened her cellphone records showing she made a call to someone who had an encrypted cell number which meant the call was Antoine Vallon who in fact had an encrypted cell phone and The time schedule showed the call was obviously made when she ratted out Murphy when the day he finally went to confront Fallon. She is removed from her position and arrested.
