Lt. Hedgecock was the SWAT leader of the Detroit Police Department.
Biography
Hedgecock was present during a hostage situation at Detroit city hall and attempted to negotiate with former city councilman Ron Miller, buying time for RoboCop.
Later, Hedgecock was summoned to the OCP parking complex along with his SWAT team with orders to destroy RoboCop. Kaplan and a few of Detroit officers, including Ramirez, Jerry, Manson, Cecil, Chessman and Starkweather protested and walked off in disgust. Hedgecock ordered his SWAT force to open fire at RoboCop, who escaped to the complex's third level, where Anne Lewis arrived and escaped with RoboCop in tow.
